Privacy policy for the website of OHA Media e.U. This version is based on the current website setup as communicated: hosting with World4You, a contact form, Instagram links only, and no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or other analytics or advertising tracking.
1. Controller
OHA Media e.U.
Owner: Aho Kourie
Pfarrgasse 34-44/3/2, 1230 Vienna, Austria
Email: office@ohamedia.at
Telephone: +43 681 20593648
2. Hosting
The website is hosted by World4You. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technically necessary server log data. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, pages or files accessed, browser and device information, and referrer information. This processing serves the secure, stable and technically error-free operation of the website and is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Where the hosting provider processes personal data on our behalf, this takes place in accordance with the data protection requirements applicable to processors.
3. Contact form and contacting us
When you contact us via the contact form, by email or by telephone, we process the data you provide, in particular your name, contact details, the content of your enquiry and information supplied voluntarily, to handle your enquiry and communicate with you. Where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, processing takes place pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; otherwise, it is based on our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data is generally stored only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry. Longer retention periods may apply where there is a contractual relationship or statutory retention and documentation requirements.
4. Instagram links
The website contains buttons or links to the Instagram profiles of OHA Media and OHA Weddings. Under the current website setup, Instagram content is not embedded directly on the website. Merely displaying these links therefore does not establish a connection to Instagram through the links. Only when you click an Instagram link do you leave our website and get redirected to the external platform. The privacy policies of the respective platform operator apply there.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising tracking
Under the current website setup, we do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any other analytics or advertising tracking technologies. Where strictly necessary cookies or comparable storage technologies are used to provide a website function expressly requested by you, they are used only to the extent technically necessary.
If analytics, marketing, embedded social media or comparable services are added in the future, this privacy policy must be updated accordingly before they are used, and consent must be obtained where required by law.
6. Recipients of personal data
Personal data is disclosed to recipients only where necessary for the technical operation of the website, handling enquiries, fulfilling contracts or complying with statutory obligations. This may include, in particular, technical service providers and hosting providers.
7. Data subject rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have, in particular, rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, that consent may be withdrawn with effect for the future. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you have a right to object under the conditions laid down by law.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
8. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure.
9. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated if the website, the services used or legal requirements change. The version published on the website at the relevant time applies.
